Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for content and behavior on Lesso, especially AI-generated lessons.

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of Lesso, including teachers, students, and visitors. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for all content you create, upload, publish, or share—including AI-generated output. Review materials before use with learners.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Service to create, store, share, or promote:

  • Illegal content or activity, or instructions that facilitate wrongdoing.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Spam, phishing, malware, or attempts to disrupt or overload the Service.
  • Sexually explicit adult content, exploitation, or content sexualizing minors.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse of individuals or groups.
  • Violence, self-harm encouragement, or dangerous activities presented as safe.
  • Deceptive or fraudulent educational materials intended to mislead students or the public.
  • Personal data you are not authorized to collect or share (including unnecessary student PII in prompts).

AI-specific misuse

  • Attempting to bypass safety filters or generate disallowed categories of content.
  • Using student-facing AI conversation features for non-educational or harmful purposes.
  • Impersonating others or misrepresenting authorship of shared Explore lessons.

Enforcement

We may remove content, disable sharing, suspend accounts, or report activity to authorities where required. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may investigate reports.

Report violations to support@lesso.me or copyright@lesso.me for copyright issues. Include URLs, lesson titles, and a description of the concern.
