Refund Policy

Refunds for Lesso coin purchases and related billing.

Overview

Lesso sells Lesso coin subscriptions for individual teachers and one-time top-ups for school team plans (processed by Stripe). This policy explains when refunds may be available.

Subscriptions

  • Individual teacher plans bill monthly or annually and refresh your Lesso coin balance each billing period. Unused coins do not roll over.
  • You may cancel a subscription through Stripe or by contacting support; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period except where required by law.
  • School team subscriptions are billed separately; see your organization owner or invoice for team terms.

Purchased credits

  • Purchased credits are non-refundable once used or consumed (including AI generation, regeneration, images, audio, or AI conversation sessions).
  • Unused purchased credits may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase if you contact support and have not substantially used the package.
  • Promotional or bonus credits (welcome bonus, referral rewards, promo codes) have no cash value and are not refundable.

Billing errors and duplicates

If you were charged twice, did not receive credits after a successful payment, or were charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error, contact us within 30 days with your receipt or Stripe session ID. We will investigate and correct the balance or issue a refund where appropriate.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension. We will provide evidence to payment processors when charges are valid.

How to request a refund

Email support@lesso.me from your account email with the date of purchase, package name, and reason for the request.
