Cookie Policy

How Lesso uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Meta Pixel.

Last updated: March 26, 2026

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and SDK identifiers. We use them to run the Service, remember preferences, and—only with your consent where required—measure analytics and advertising performance.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems in the same way as optional cookies.

  • Authentication and session management (keeping you signed in securely).
  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • Load balancing and basic product functionality.
  • Storing your cookie consent choice.

Analytics and marketing cookies (optional)

If you click Accept on our cookie banner (or equivalent control), we may enable:

  • Google Analytics — to understand how visitors and teachers use our website and product (page views, events such as sign-up and purchases, aggregated statistics).
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook) — to measure ad performance, build aggregated audiences, and attribute conversions such as Complete Registration and Purchase events.

If you click Decline, we do not fire these optional tags and we keep Meta advertising cookies revoked until you change your choice.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 and Meta consent APIs to align optional measurement with your choice.

Session and local storage

We may store lesson draft progress, interface preferences, and similar data in your browser to improve your experience. Student lesson answers may be cached locally for resilience before syncing to our servers.

Third-party cookies

Google and Meta may set their own cookies when their scripts load. Their use of data is described in Google's and Meta's privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies.

Your choices

  • Use our cookie banner to Accept or Decline optional analytics and marketing cookies.
  • Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies (some features may stop working).
  • Use industry opt-out tools offered by Google and Meta for personalized advertising where available.

Lesso-specific notes

Because teachers sign up, create lessons, and purchase Lesso coins, optional analytics help us understand which features drive value and which campaigns bring new educators. We do not use optional cookies to grade students or share classroom content with advertisers.
